Level 3 Service Technician

This is a contract to hire position.

Our customer is an innovative and privately-owned Managed Service Provider of Technology Solutions for their regional customers. With a focus on providing premier customer service, with a focus on backup and recovery systems, cloud infrastructure, and phone support, our customer is ready to add an experienced Level 3 Technology professional to their service team.   

This Level 3 Service Technician will work full-time in our customer’s South Jersey office, with occasional remote/deployment visits to customers in the greater Philadelphia region. Most customers are small to mid-sized businesses. 

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience, coupled with exceptional self-motivation, time management, and customer service skills. Key areas of technical proficiency should include:

•    Installation and configuration of Managed Switches
•    Windows Server 2016/2019
•    Amazon AWS
•    Active Directory Configuration
•    TCP/IP Configuration (DNS, DHCP, WINS)
•    Email Protocols (POP3, IMAP)
•    Exchange, Office 365, Google Apps
•    VMWare, Virtualization, Hypervisors, ESXI
•    Cisco Network Administration/Cisco Meraki experience
•    Firewall Configuration
•    Windows 7/10
•    Macintosh OS X (10.5 through 10.15)
•    Mobile Device Configuration (iOS, Android, Blackberry)
•    Security, Antivirus, Malware Removal
•    Build/Repair Hardware

Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to learn proprietary IT management software that manages customer information, issue tracking, and scheduling. Sound organizational and communication skills are expected. Prior experience working for MSP-type organizations would be ideal. Candidates will have reliable transportation and possess a valid drivers’ license.
