firstPRO is seeking a qualified Program Analyst for our client, a large medical manufacturing company located out of Philadelphia PA. They are looking for someone with experience building enterprise web applications leveraging responsive design for mobile devices, knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL, functional knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRMs (Salesforce), as well as familiarity with infrastructure systems such as servers, systems administration, and UNIX/Linux scripting abilities.

Job Details

• $48-$50/hour
• 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Type: Contract to Hire
• Hybrid (1-2 days in Philadelphia office)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive web applications, web components, and web services
• Maintain current knowledge of IT development methodology, architectural design, and technical standards
• Work with business partners and outside vendors to collect and confirm project business requirements
• Test and manage project deployments and production releases
• Communicate with IT management on a frequent basis
• Identify tasks and issues that may have an impact on service levels or schedules
• Provide realistic task deliverables estimates
• Troubleshoot and debug project work and support initiatives
• Provide support on a rotating basis with other development team members
• Design and develop the software components that drive customer’s multi-tier web environment

Requirements

• Must have strong working knowledge of PHP, including data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures
• Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful services development (JSON, XML)
• Working knowledge of microservices
• Must have a strong understanding of design patterns
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
• Experience building enterprise web applications leveraging responsive design for mobile devices is a plus
• Experience with data modeling and database programming skills (MSQL database and PL/SQL experience) is a plus
• Experience with Apache Servers, PHP, Frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter
• Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRMS (Salesforce) is a plus
• Familiarity with infrastructure systems (servers, systems administration, and UNIX/Linux scripting skills) is a plus
• Understanding of networks, firewalls, load balancers and concepts with the ability to provide requirements to the infrastructure team as well as provide troubleshooting assistance
• Must have excellent verbal communication, written communication, and social interaction skills

Education

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 1-4 + years of overall development
