firstPRO is seeking a qualified Windows Server Manager for our client, a large health organization located out of Allentown, PA. They are seeking an individual with experience in Sophos Proxy configuration and maintenance, Juniper Pulse VPN appliance configuration and maintenance, and SSL certificate management. The ideal candidate will be able to install software, updates, and security patches to a Microsoft Windows Server.

Windows Server Manager

Details

• Compensation: $65 – $70/hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Type: Contract to Hire
• Hybrid or work from home flexibility, however local area resources strongly preferred
• Vaccination required if hybrid

Responsibilities

• Install software, updates, and security patches to a Microsoft Windows Server.
• Maintain the computer servers on the back end
• Monitor performance and perform system backups on a regular basis
• Maintain, update, and upgrade the hardware and software of the computer systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other administrator, staff, and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sophos Proxy configuration and maintenance
• Experience with Juniper Pulse VPN appliance configuration and maintenance
• Experience with SSL certificate management
• 5+ years of general IT experience
• Experience with Active Directory design and management
• Experience with Group Policy management
• Experience with supporting software such as antivirus, SCCM, and monitoring/alerting tools
• Experience managing a printing environment, servers, queues, drivers, ect.
• Monitoring/alerting experience a plus, mainly SolarWinds
• Exceptional customer service skills
