firstPRO is seeking a qualified Cloud Solutions Architect for our client, a large health organization based out of New Jersey. They are looking for someone with strong experience in Storage, Backup, Platform Operating Systems, Databases, Network, Virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, XaaS, DTaaS, Azure/AWSD and M365. The ideal candidate would be responsible for designing, engineering, coordinating, cost forecasting, and global standardization of the following key technological areas.

• Schedule: Standard hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid, public, and private cloud infrastructure and administer cloud systems including implementations and migrations, leveraging virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies of the major Cloud Service Providers (CSP). Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), & Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Establish governance and enforce quality standards for cloud software and infrastructure architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, XaaS, and DTaaS).
• Review and evaluate existing systems architectures and software products to identify cloud platforming and refactoring opportunities.
• Engineer and implement a wide-range IT systems such as virtualization, hyper-converged, high-availability, and security integrated solutions
• Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and drive high priority customer initiatives.
• Mentor and coach engineers, administrators, and developers to ensure that architecture and requirements best practices are followed.

Job Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with enterprise-level web/SaaS applications and IaaS/PaaS architecture within Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• 5-10 years of experience with Microsoft 365 Suite
• Automation technologies within Azure or AWS
• Preferred experience leveraging Puppet, PowerShell, Python, or other applicable tools.
• Able to write and maintaining clear documentation about system architecture, release, and implementation plans, and develop and maintain internal documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem investigation and diagnostic skills.
