firstPRO is seeking a qualified Business Intelligence Architect for our client, a large consulting firm located out of Pennsylvania. They are seeking someone that can perform requirements analysis to gain an understanding of business needs to develop level of effort estimates.

Job Details

  • Compensation: $60 – $65/hour with a converting salary of up to $120,000/year
  • Type: Contract to Hire, (4-month contract)
  • Hybrid: 2 days onsite
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Job Responsibilities

  • May perform any of the below duties in a Lead role Develop BI reports, data extracts and dashboards for enterprise systems.
  • Develop data models and specifications for Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Data analytics and reporting for Finance, Marketing and Human Resources.
  • Perform unit testing for upgrades, implementations, integrations, and migrations.
  • Support SQL Data warehouse and data migration as part of the BI Strategy.
  • Follow SDLC methodology for project implementation.
  • Provide timely "tier 3" support for Hill Enterprise Systems.
  • As necessary, submit and track software support cases with Vendors.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer as requested to both internal and external clients.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to call center personnel who must be able to provide help desk support and the server team for Production environment implementation and support as part of our SOX audit compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer related field required
  • 6+ plus years work experience in the computer field will also be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  •  Architect Development 3 – 5+ years’ experience
  • Technical proficiency in (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL server Data Tool, Oracle BI, API, C#, JSON, QlikSense, Data services and Business Intelligence platforms.)
  • Prior experience designing and building Finance, Business or HR dashboards.
  • Knowledge on data governance.
  • Ensure data quality on reports and dashboards.
  • Visual Studio, ERP tools cloud applications such as Oracle HCM, ORC and Deltek Vantagepoint are a plus.
  • Should have excellent organization, critical thinking, communication, and research skills. Understanding of the requirements of the company’s clients, and also understanding how the industry and market are changing on a global basis. Must have received or be willing to receive the Covid-19 vaccination by date of hire. Medical or Religious exemptions will be considered. Proof of vaccination required.
