Telecom Technician
firstPRO is looking for a Telecom Technician for our client who has a strong foothold in the medical field in Bucks Country, PA who will provide support of voice networks, systems, software, and related issues. This position will provide the opportunity to develop technical competence through hands-on telecommunication administration, creation of standard operating policies and practices, preparing reports, analysis, and presentations, and providing administrative and project support. It is an entry-level technical track position and will offer training and continued education to support a career in technical management and leadership. This is a hybrid, contract position with compensation up to $30/ hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support annual audits and compliance reviews, as needed.
- Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training, and site visits.
- Support the team (office and company) and provide back up as needed.
- Require on-call availability and work during non-business hours and on weekends, as needed.
- Conduct behavior in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff, 0 3240.
- Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Four (4) year college degree.
- One-year successful experience in a related field.
- Prior health care and home care experience is preferred.
- Proficient in basic business software applications required to perform job functions.
- Ability to learn new technologies, hardware, software, and technical methodologies.
- Technical competence in at least one technology.
- Wonderlic score greater than or equal to twenty-four (24).
- Acceptable results on Profile XT.
