firstPRO is seeking a qualified Linux System Administrator for our client, a large manufacturer based out of New Jersey. They are seeking someone that has experience with heavy troubleshooting and works with the Red Hat Linux system.

Linux System Administrator

Job Details   

• Compensation: $55 – $60/hour with benefits (Health, Dental, Vision)
• Location: Camden, New Jersey
• Hybrid (1 – 2 days onsite per week)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Desired Skills and Abilities

• Capable of working independently, a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements.
• Possesses technical skills & experience to participate in the development and maintenance of business systems using a systems methodology.
• Able to work in ServiceNow ticketing system to expedite tickets
• Logical approach to problem resolution.
• Experience as a Systems Administrator supporting at least two of the following areas: UNIX, Linux, or Windows, Networking for a period of 2-5 years. Experience with SAN hardware and software preferred.  Experience with some core Infrastructure application support (i.e. middleware, file transfer, batch scheduler, etc.)
• Experience in troubleshooting system performance issues.
• Experience in ESX and possibly Oracle VM.
• OS patching and hardening experience
• Must be able to document well.
• Scripting Experience
• Experience with Ansible / Puppet
