firstPRO is seeking a qualified Service Desk Technician for our client, an insurance organization located out of Pennsylvania. They are seeking someone that can provide hands on and remote support to end users for computer, application, system device, and hardware issues.

Job Details

  • Compensation: $25 – $26/hour with benefits (Health, Dental, Vision)
  • Type: Contract to Hire
  • Location: Conshohocken, PA and Cherry Hill, NJ
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of various Windows operating platforms including Windows 7 and Windows 10, primarily from a desktop/laptop perspective
  • Working knowledge of MacOS and iOS-based devices such as MacBook’s, iPads, and iPhones
  • Experience with supporting 3rd Party and in-house business applications from within a Service Desk role/function
  • Working knowledge of MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, and MS Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with the installation of computer hardware, printers, monitors, and TVs
  • Experience is support of end-user phones and peripherals issues from a Tier 1 level
  • Experience in on-boarding and off-boarding of staff both in the local office and remote workers
  • Experience in using and maintaining Service Desk applications
  • Working knowledge of supporting mobile devices, including mobile device management (MDM) applications
  • Exposure to supporting Cloud-based applications and services (SaaS)
  • Working knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote-control support functions such as GoToAssist
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills. Customer-centric approach and mindset
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
