firstPRO is seeking a qualified Web Systems Engineer for our client, a legal/financial organization located out of Delaware. They are seeking someone that will integrate and automate daily tasks using Ansible/Jenkins and install/maintain their web environments

Web Systems Engineer

Job Details

• Compensation: $65 – $70/hour with benefits (Health, Dental Vision), Weekly Pay
• Location: 100% remote
• Type: Contract to hire
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible and Jenkins.
• Implement, manage, install, and upgrade our Web environments consisting of: Oracle WebLogic, Microsoft IIS, Tomcat, F5, SonicMQ, and other related software both commercial and open source.
• Working closely with developers for process improvements, recommendations, and alternatives to current state applications.
• Architect, implement and support various applications, servers, environments, and related services.

Job Requirements

• Experience with automation software like Ansible.
• Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with source code management tools like git.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS Web Servers.
• Shell scripting experience with at least one scripting language: Bash, sed, awk, Perl, python or ruby.
• Understanding of DNS Understanding of L7 content switching (e.g. F5 load balancers)
• Strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to think strategically and proactively (rather than reactionary)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment and “learn on the job”.
