firstPRO is seeking an IT Network Administrator role for our client located in South Jersey. This is a contract to hire role and is 100% on-site. Compensation for this position is up to $40/ hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the administration of various internal & external IT systems
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of services, systems, and IT infrastructure including hardware, software, telecommunications, network, IT environment controls, etc. ensuring they work securely and reliably. 
  • Ensuring adherence to IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-level issues that require advanced technical knowledge. 
  • Requires a solid understanding of networking including but not limited to: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, Port Forwarding, vLAN, and Wireless. 
  • Coordinate and implement network upgrades. 
  • Recommends upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment. 
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve faults and errors in applications. 
  • Proactively managing and prioritizing multiple related projects, assignments, timelines, milestones, and follow-up communications. 
  • Creating user guides, training curriculum, policies, and other pertinent documentation for internal and external partners. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve daily support tickets including end-user support via phone, email, and remote control. 
  • Off-hours Duty – On-duty employee is required to be available and handle problems according to SOPs. 
  • Manage VoIP phones and their networks. 
  • Monitoring & Administration of backup process.  
  • Manage the IT Asset (Hardware and Software) throughout the life cycle. 
  • Ensure technical operational problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Assist to define and implement the short-term and long-term goals of the IT Department. 
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software; resolve user and system problems; perform related work. 
  • Design, build, configure, and maintain servers and workstations (for internal and customer systems). 
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and managing CCTV, access control, and intercom systems. 

Qualifications: 

  • CompTIA Network+, A+, or equivalent. 
  • 4+ years of experience. 
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and managing CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
