firstPRO is seeking an IT professional for a Build Technician contract position for our client, located in Hammonton, NJ. This is a contract role, with potential to turn into a full-time position. Candidates will need to reside close to Hammonton, NJ, with reliable transportation, as this is a 100% on-site position. Compensation for this position is up to $25/hr., based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build, configuration, and staging of PC and laptop machines on-site at their configuration center in Hammonton, NJ.
• Deployment of PCs and peripherals for end users.
• Provide some post deployment support nationally.
• Responsible for equipment management – repurposing machines for redeployment/disposal.
• Report Build/Deployment success and issues to the project team.

Qualifications:

• Ideally at least 1+ year of Desktop Build and Deployment experience.
• Ability to build, configure and deploy Windows 10/11 machines and peripherals.
• Experience in post-installation support.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 environment and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Printer/Scanner installation, configuration, and support.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Exceptional work ethic and customer service acumen.
