firstPRO is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow CMDB Lead with extensive experience in Automated Discovery tools and ITIL processes. This professional will join our well-known client’s team on a consulting basis, with the potential for contract-to-hire. This is a hybrid role, so candidates close to the Philadelphia area are preferred. Compensation for this role is up to $90/hr., based on experience.

Requirements:

    • Proven hands-on experience with Automated Discovery tools and their error logs.
    • Proficiency in maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
    • Extensive ServiceNow expertise, especially within Discovery, Configuration, and Change Management modules.
    • Strong familiarity with ITIL processes.
    • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborating with individuals across all levels.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capable of managing priorities and delivering under pressure.
    • Self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

    • Perform data maintenance, reconciliation, quality audits, and troubleshoot issues in automated discovery.
    • Develop and refine procedures to ensure ongoing data quality for CMDB, configuration data management, and mapping.
    • Assist in integrating and reconciling data from various discovery tools.
    • Support audits of CMDB data to maintain accuracy.
    • Manage non-discoverable CMDB data manually.
    • Contribute to implementing ITAM (ServiceNow) in customer environments.
    • Participate in report, dashboard, and output configuration associated with change, configuration, discovery, and mapping.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years of IT software and hardware knowledge.
    • 5+ years of experience in CMDB management, including specific business services for IT support.
    • Proficiency in ServiceNow, particularly in modules related to Discovery and Change Management.
    • Proven record of building consensus and negotiation skills.
    • Experience in the retail industry (preferred).
