Senior Network Engineer
Job Details

• Compensation: Up to $72/hour
• Contract: (4 – 6 months with likelihood of extension)
• Hybrid
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Designing, supporting, and configuring enterprise networking (Cisco Nexus 9000), Data Center networking, Point to Point WAN (Wide Area Network), OSPF, BGP, Cisco DNAC, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, Network security (I.e., segmentation, ISE (Identity Services Engine), etc.  Strongly preferred is CCIE certification or equivalent certifications.  
• Asked to be a primary point of contact to the clinical team at times and represent the infrastructure team as an extension of our customer’s staff.
•  Scheduling and attending meetings, driving discussions to ensure clarification on next steps, and document project milestones and due dates.
• Continually follow up with other staff throughout the work week to ensure alignment of their efforts with the milestones and adjust/communicate as needed.
• Present status of projects in PowerPoint and other formats as needed.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in designing, supporting, and configuring enterprise networking (Cisco Nexus 9000), Point to Point WAN, OSPF, BGP, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, etc.
• Preferred CCIE certification
•  Effective communication skills
• Required Education: bachelor’s degree
