firstPro is seeking a Software Support Engineer with a desire to learn, a focus on collaboration, excellent technical skills, and communications skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems hosting the organization’s Software Suite.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for implementations
  • Provide support for the ticketing system and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to team success
  • Ability to think critically and analyze problems to remediate issues in internal and customer IT environments
  • Some travel required

Required Skills:

  • 4-year or 2-year college degree in computer or business-related field
  • 3+ years of System Admin experience
  • 2+ years of Linux experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL databases
  • Experience with Helpdesk concepts and processes
