April Fawcett Nagel founded FirstPRO in 1986 with four employees. Today the company is one of the largest and fastest-growing independent staffing and executive search firms in the United States; it has more than 115 employees and annual revenues exceeding $30 million. FirstPRO currently represents over 50 percent of the Fortune 1000, in addition to hundreds of small- to mid-cap businesses in almost every industry. She is acutely committed to fostering an atmosphere of family within the organization. Primarily due to this commitment, FirstPRO has one of the highest retention rates in the industry. Every member of the senior leadership grew to their present positions within the company and have an average tenure of more than 15 years.

Prior to founding FirstPRO, April spent nine years in the staffing and temporary industries in sales, marketing and management positions. She currently lives in Atlanta and has three married daughters and two school-age children. She has made several guest appearances on CNN and also writes a monthly column on business etiquette for Business to Business Magazine. April is active in many of her favorite charities, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Special Olympics, Chastain Horse Park and various Catholic organizations.
