firstPRO is seeking an IT Business Partner (ITBP) to serve as the bridge between technology and business objectives. This is a 100% remote, 9-month contracting position. Compensation for this position is up to $50/hr., based on experience.

Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the CIO and business units to synchronize IT strategy with overarching business objectives.
    • Manage capital forecast to ensure effective investment pipeline management.
    • Assist customers with cost estimates, business case development, and maximizing ROI.
    • Conduct delivery reviews with executive leadership, tailoring programs to suit specific business needs.
    • Develop and enhance communication strategies across executives and key stakeholders.
    • Direct cross-functional teams to develop and execute technology roadmaps.
    • Align teams and resources to efficiently deliver strategic programs.
    • Collaborate with IT Project Management Office (PMO) and Enterprise PMO to streamline program management processes.
    • Maintain the IT Scorecard for executive leadership presentations, measuring IT effectiveness as a valued business partner.
    • Partner with the Global Service Delivery reporting team to provide insightful metrics related to department and company goals.
    • Liaise with regional, global, and external teams for effective product/program implementation plans.
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses.

Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in IT strategy development through executive engagement.
    • Proficiency in at least two of the following IT functions: Applications, Infrastructure, Operation, Service Delivery.
    • Proven ability to build relationships across departmental boundaries.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
    • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on strong presentation abilities.
    • Adept at engaging with executives.
    • Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with current knowledge of operational environments.
    • Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong technical knowledge and ability to navigate complex technical landscapes.
    • Customer-focused with expertise in service level agreements and operational level agreements.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite applications.
    • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
    • Willingness and ability to travel once a month to meet with leadership.
    • A 4-year degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field is required; a master's degree is a plus. (Or Extensive Work Experience Equivalent)
