firstPRO is seeking a skilled and experienced SCCM Infrastructure Engineer with a comprehensive understanding of OSD, Imaging, and image testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring Workstation GPOs, conducting SCCM health checkups, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and upgrading the SCCM infrastructure. Additionally, this role involves maintaining high compliance rates for software distribution, workstation patching, and SCCM client health. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, application packaging, and Active Directory administration is essential for success in this position. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires one day per month onsite, with compensation up to $115,000 per year, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

    • Utilize sound knowledge of OSD, Imaging, and image testing to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of workstation environments.
    • Configure Workstation GPOs based on vulnerability requests and perform SCCM health checkups.
    • Troubleshoot infrastructural issues including Management Point, WSUS, Replications, and Distribution Point issues.
    • Upgrade the SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Configure Boundaries, Boundary Groups, Discovery Methods, and compliance baselines.
    • Monitor and maintain high compliance rates for software distribution, workstation patching, and SCCM client health.
    • Conduct regular SCCM cleanup activities and generate custom reports using SCCM reporting tools.
    • Utilize PowerShell scripting and bash/shell scripting for automation tasks and troubleshooting.
    • Administer, maintain, and operate Active Directory Windows-based networks.
    • Automate tasks such as software packaging and deployment, security patching, and Operating System Deployment.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience with a master’s degree.
    • 2 or more years of professional experience in designing, implementing, and supporting computer networks.
    • Certification in Microsoft SCCM/Intune and/or other Microsoft applications is preferable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager design, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
    • Working technical knowledge of current operating systems and standards.
    • Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
    • Familiarity with Change Management, Incident management processes in SNOW.
    • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
