Job Details

• Compensation: Up to $60/hour with weekly pay and benefits offered

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the backup status of the environment to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Address backup failures promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Handle incoming tickets related to data restores, additions, removals, and backups.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve backup-related issues.
• Assist in the management of a large-scale storage environment, currently operating at 18 petabytes.
• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for backup systems and related infrastructure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements within the Veeam platform.
• Contribute to the improvement of backup processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to backup and data management.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support as needed to address critical issues and emergencies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years' experience with Veeam Backup & Replication Platform      
• Full understanding of backup methodologies   
• Ability to manage multiple requests and incidents at once.
