Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Radnor, PA (Fully On-Site)

Compensation: Up to $90K plus 5% annual bonus

A well-established financial services company specializing in housing finance is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Accounting team. This organization offers financial services and insurance solutions to support homeownership. The company is committed to strong risk management and acts as a reliable partner in the housing finance sector.

Position Overview:

This individual contributor role operates under limited supervision and is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of both internal and external financial reports. The position also includes supervisory responsibilities for staff accountants.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform monthly and quarterly accounting duties, including the preparation of GAAP, statutory, and financial reports and analyses related to the title business.
•    Collaborate with financial and operational management to ensure timely financial statements and internal reporting, including associated workpapers.
•    Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory and external financial reports.
•    Prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger and related accounting modules (Oracle).
•    Manage daily accounting functions, including disbursements and data interfaces from external systems.
•    Serve as a control operator for key SOX controls; reconcile accounts to supporting sub-ledgers or detail.
•    Present monthly variance analysis and coordinate distribution of reports to department heads.
•    Support accounting system integrations or enhancements to existing modules.
•    Contribute to documentation for audits, budget preparation, and various internal/external reports.
•    Supervise and mentor staff accountants, interns, and co-ops.
•    Drive continuous improvement in the monthly close process through technology and process upgrades.
•    Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
•    Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
•    3+ years of experience in public accounting or a relevant financial environment involving financial reporting, general accounting, or accounting operations.
•    CPA designation and experience with SEC reporting preferred.
•    Familiarity with insurance industry standards and statutory accounting principles is a plus.
•    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
•    Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Excellent time management and task prioritization.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Oracle experience is preferred.
