In response to an ever-increasing demand for our quality services, firstPRO is seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional for our Center City Philadelphia’s Information Technology staffing and recruiting practice.

Our Information Technology contractor staff headcount, which has doubled from 2019, is driving the need for firstPRO to seek exceptional office talent to further promote our company’s staffing brand with our customer base in the Delaware Valley. Reporting into the Director of Business Development, firstPRO is seeking a Business Development and Sales professional, who has a proven track record of creating long-term value for organizations. We are looking for Information Technology Staffing professionals who are customer-obsessed and prepared to solve the complex and changing staffing and recruiting needs of our customers. Candidates will possess strong communication and self-management skills, as well as the ability to complement a seasoned delivery team, in an ever-evolving industry landscape. 

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

•    Implement innovative and relationship-driven techniques to attract new customers and reinforce existing customer business
•    Maintain bountiful relationships with customers and address their hiring needs effectively
•    Research and identify new market opportunities
•    Prepare and deliver a variety of pitches to customers that reinforce the firstPRO brand  
•    Foster a collaborative, cross-selling driven environment within firstPRO

Candidates will hold a BA/BS degree and should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Information Technology Staff Augmentation industry, via a blend of small and large sized staffing organizations. Candidates will possess a proficiency in managing a fully operational staffing desk – both Recruiting and Sales. Candidates will have the ability to develop ‘Trusted Advisor’-type relationships with current and potential customers and bring a high level of attention and respect for detail, with a focus on fact-based decision making to their workday. A knowledge of productivity tools, CRM systems, and related software is preferred, but not necessary.
