  • How long have you been with firstPRO?
    • Almost 2 months
  • What do you do? What’s your day-to-day like?
    • I am an IT Contract Recruiter, trying to help people find their next steps in their careers. I’m lucky, every day I get to walk to work, which starts my day on a great note. Once I’m in the office I start organizing and responding to emails, then I either post a new job or I start looking at resumes and making calls. But I will say, every day is not the same, one of the best parts about the job.
  • What do you love most about the job?
    • The environment at firstPRO cannot be beat, everyone is very supportive and helpful, it is a unique staffing firm. I also love that feeling when you find a great candidate a job, nothing beats that feeling.
  • What are the biggest challenges in your job?
    • The biggest challenge would have to be working jobs that are hard to fill. However, when you find someone that fits that specific job it is the best feeling in the world.
  • What accomplishment are you most proud of?
    • I am proud of being brand new to recruiting and holding my own. I have Conor and Brittany to thank for all the guidance they have given me, and I hope to keep on growing as I have been doing.
  • What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?
    • For every 3 submittals you’ll have you might get 1 interview, so keep on pushing and realize that this is a numbers game. You just have to keep going.
  • What are some of the standout factors you’re looking for when you match candidates with clients?
    • A lot of my standout factors come into play when I am on the phone with candidates. I like to hear how they are on the phone; can they sell themselves, are they easy to talk to, are they going to represent firstPRO in the best way possible.
  • Do you stay in touch with your previous placements?
    • Always, I want them to be lifelong connections. I want them to come to me when they want their next job.
  • What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
    • Outside of work I love to explore Philadelphia. I come from a very foody family and am slowly making my way through all the best eats of Philly.
  • If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
    • If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Singapore or Thailand
